The Rabbit Hole

The Rabbit Hole

16 x 20

original acrylic painting

Today's painting is the 3rd in my new series of outdoor garden paintings. I like the simplicity of this painting and the high contrast. I want this series to be somewhat whimsical, and now I believe simplicity is the key. To view this painting and others, please visit my website.  SpohnStudio.com

Card Frank

Frank

original acrylic

5x7 greeting card

Look who hopped into the studio today! A white rabbit, that I ended up naming Frank. I think he has been hopping about this area since Easter. I really wonder what I will find when I finally get around to cleaning my studio. This painting is for sale for $35.00 and you can purchase on my website: SpohnStudio.com

Cats are Everything

'Words are Words, but Cats are Everything'

original acrylic painting

6x6 inches

This painting will be showing at the next local library show, entitled 'Letters, Unfettered'. The challenge this year is to create an art piece inspired by letters, phrases or the entire body of one or more non-English/Latin alphabets. I chose to use the Telugu alphabet and the phrase, "Words are words, but cats are everything".  The library show runs May 12 thru the end of June. This painting will be framed and for sale for $100.00. To view more of my paintings, visit my website: SpohnStudio.com

Card Juan

Juan

original acrylic painting

5x7 greeting card

Well, today's painting was inspired by early evening lighting. The bright yellow-orange colors reminded me of the festive colors south of the border. Thus, this hare was soon named Juan. Visit my website to purchase and view other paintings. SpohnStudio.com
