Greeting Card- Charlie

"Charlie"

5x7 greeting card

Acrylic

Day 4 of the painting challenge and I did a semi-portrait of our feral cat Charlie. I didn't crop his left ear, so he looks more handsome in this painting. I find painting in acrylics is so much faster than painting in oils.

Hand-Painted Card: Two Sheep

 5x7 inch Card

So much to do today... Brunch, Bronco game, running errands, and helping Ralph. No time for a larger painting. But I did paint this card. I have quite a few hand-painted acrylic greeting cards. I noticed I didn't have a sheep in my collection. But now I do! This painting will be available on my website tomorrow.   SpohnStudio.com

Day 1 of the 30 in 30 days. That means painting one painting each day for 30 days. I was going to structure myself to a certain theme or size... but have decided against it. This leaves me free to explore many subjects and sizes of paintings.

So stay tuned to see what happens on this journey of 30 paintings in 30 days. These paintings will be posted on my website one day later. You can purchase directly from my website.

Birds are always coming to visit my sunflowers. Mostly finches, but crows, doves, blackbirds and an occasional robin show up also.
