This landscape painting was painted using 2 reference photos I took last fall. The reds, oranges and yellows may look a bit bright, but that is truly how wonderful the color shone in the bright sun against the blue skies. Fall is the perfect time of year in Colorado. I am often hiking about taking photos during this time of year.
