Greyhound

7 x 7

Oil on Board

Decided to try another dog today. I liked the soft, grays and rust colors in the markings on this dog. And she had really pretty eyes. I went for an abstract background on this piece, which I hope does not distract from the the main subject of the dog. This painting is for sale for $85.00 and includes free shipping. For more information, please contact me by e-mail: susanmspohn@gmail.com

 White Bellied-Parrot

7 x 7

Oil on Board

Didn't have much time to paint today... So I painted this little parrot. I liked the unusual angle of the bird as it faced downwards towards all the flowers. This painting is for sale for $85.00 and includes free shipping in the Continental USA. For more information contact me by e-mail: susanmspohn.gmail.com

This is the fifth in the Floral Box Series. Once they dry and are varnished, I will arrange them together in the frame.

And this is the fourth painting in the series of five small 7 x 7 that will be framed all together at the end. All of these paintings are being painted with a pallet knife. It is fun to select which sections of this flower box to paint each day.
