Card Self-Seeded Marigold
Self-Seeded Marigold
original acrylic
5x7 greeting card
I dug up a spot of grass and put it in a pot this past fall so my cat, Sally, could munch on it throughout the winter. Well, it only lasted a month or so and died out. But then up popped a self-seeded marigold which as been doing great all winter producing bloom after bloom. I took the small pot down from the window sill and painted this card from those inspirational blooms. Visit my website to purchase: SpohnStudio.com

2 Hares Discuss the Garden
16 x 20
Original Acrylic Painting
Ahhhhhhhhhh... quiet now and you can hear the discussion. This is the first of my new series of acrylic paintings that can be hung indoors or outdoors. They will be finished off with nuts and bolts hardware, and will be easy to hang. I hope to maintain a level of lightness and humor with these new paintings. This painting is for sale and you can soon purchase on my website: SpohnStudio.com
Card Nancy's Garden
Nancy's Garden
original acrylic painting
5x7 greeting card
Flowers create patterns, patterns of form and color and these are ever changing patterns. When you look at a flower garden, you first see the blossoms because of their bright hues, but then you notice the leaves and the understory layers, and maybe a bug or two.
This painting is for sale for $25.00 and can be purchased on my website: SpohnStudio.com
Thank you Nancy for sending this reference photo!
