I took some reference photos yesterday while walking  at Sand's Lake and there abouts. The light is very bright for a few hours in mid afternoon and seems to make these lovely ducks glow. This is day 2 of the painting challenge. I spent part of the day doing value studies for 4 upcoming paintings. Below you see the quick study for  'Circling in Winter Light'.
