The Scent of Flowers

The Scent of Flowers

Oil, 26 x 14 inches

I have been working on a new painting that will be entered into 2 shows. The Valley Visions show held locally at the Salida Steamplant and an online show 'Art for Animals' by Navs.org/art. I just finished painting it today. Of course it needs to dry and then I need to varnish it. The background is a bit more subdued in reality. Not certain why the camera was picking up that purple color so intensely.  Visit my website to view more paintings and to find out more about this painting. SpohnStudio.com

30 x 30  Oil

I have been working on this painting for a while. It was drawn out and ready to paint and then life got in the way... then I started painting it and had to stop and get ready for my art show in Tubac, AZ. Now, finally I have had some time to finish this painting.  Hope you like it! I do. Visit my website to purchase and view my other paintings.  SpohnStudio.com

After the painting started to dry, the background seemed to dry to darkly and after reconsidering my color choices I changed the background color. Here is the newly completed painting below.
