Peacock Garden

I started this painting a couple weeks ago and managed to get all the background flowers painted. Today I was able to paint the 2 peacocks and the yellow swallowtail butterfly along with the foreground yellow flowers. Even though the colorful tails of the peacocks are not in this painting, the Impressionistic garden colors substitute for their feathered rainbow of colors.
