Sunflower Garden- diptych

Sunflower Garden - diptych

18 x 36 each piece, (36 x 36 total)

Original Oil Painting

Now you will be able to find those previous 'hints'. I think this painting is now finished. I will look at it again with fresh eyes in the morning. Sunflowers self-seed themselves in my front garden and when all the flowers are in bloom, it is really a happy site. There are always birds, butterflies, squirrels and cats in this garden.  Do you have any comments?

Dancing Booby

Dancing Booby

Arcylic (outdoor painting)

16x20

I was drawn to those dancing blue footed boobies again today. Their coloring is so wonderful. They look so serious with their facial expressions and yet, they act kind of goofy and certainly look a bit weird. This is another painting in the Outdoor Series. Well here are those geese again. There are so many of them all about Sands Lake where I like to go walking.  I seem to have my camera with me quite frequently and cannot resist taking their photos. Today several of the geese were congregating as if they were having a meeting. They seemed to be speaking to each other in low voices...  Contact me for shipping information outside the Continental USA. Peacock Garden

Peacock Garden

39 x 11 inches

oil on wood panel

I started this painting a couple weeks ago and managed to get all the background flowers painted. Today I was able to paint the 2 peacocks and the yellow swallowtail butterfly along with the foreground yellow flowers. Even though the colorful tails of the peacocks are not in this painting, the Impressionistic garden colors substitute for their feathered rainbow of colors. This painting will be mounted as a wood boxed panel when it dries. $700.00  Contact me if you are interested in purchasing this unique painting.

Hummingbird & Zinnia's

Hummingbird & Zinnia's

7 x 7

oil on wood panel

I like how 3 dimensional the zinnia's in this painting turned out. Hummingbirds love red and orange flowers. I am not certain why, maybe their nectar is sweeter. This painting is for sale for $85.00 and includes free shipping in the Continental USA. Contact me for purchase information.
